Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan, Vice Director of VNU-CEA in his speech Keynote speeches at the conference highlighted the importance of fair and transparent degree recognition in higher education, emphasizing that quality assurance is fundamental to maintaining the credibility of higher education and promoting international recognition. In addition to the academic program, the conference offered opportunities to experience traditional Japanese culture, fostering international exchange and mutual understanding among the delegates. The conference was sponsored by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India and the Tokyo Club, with support from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB). Overview of the Conference Participating in the conference, the delegation from the VNU Center for Education Accreditation gained valuable international experience, particularly in advanced quality assurance methods and models. These insights will be researched and applied by the Center to improve the quality of education accreditation activities in Vietnam, while also promoting international cooperation in this field to support the development of quality assurance and accreditation systems in Vietnam. This event provided valuable learning and networking opportunities for the participating delegates. The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), established in 1991 and headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, aims to promote and enhance the quality of higher education by supporting the international community of quality assurance agencies. VNU-CEA has been an official member of INQAAHE since 2019. This was the 18th annual conference, hosted by the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA).
